There will be 51 representatives aged 70 or more on election day 2008. Undoubtedly some of these will call it quits, leaving a contested open seat behind. Some districts are so partisan than party control is unlikely to switch, but a President with strong coattails could pull in some representatives even in districts that normally go for the other party.
