Electoral Vote Predictor 2004: Kerry 207 Bush 307
News from the Votemaster
Only three polls today and I am caught up. New hampshire is tied again, but other than that no real news.
The Wall Street Journal has an article pointing out that polling is more of an art than a science.
The New York times has an article about voter registration in the swing states. The Democrats have been far more successful at registering new voters in heavily Democratic areas than the Republicans have been in heavily Republican areas. It is not known if all these people will actually vote, but the pollsters are likely to miss a lot of them, which biases the polls.
Finally, there is a new cartoon of the week.
Projected Senate: 47 Democrats, 51 Republicans, 1 independent, 1 tossup
