Many of Trump's Actions Come Directly from Project 2025

Last summer, on the campaign trail, Donald Trump said: "Project 2025? Never heard of it." And yet, somehow, some way, a large number of things he has done in the first 4 weeks are also found in the Project 2025 blueprint. Weird coincidence, no? Here is a list of action items from the Project 2025 report that, by freak accident, Trump has already started to carry out.

• Advance school choice
• Allow troops to rejoin who declined COVID-19 vaccine
• Ban transgender troops
• Close the office of federal contract compliance programs
• End diversity, equity and inclusion programs
• End government efforts to fight misinformation and disinformation
• Enforce the death penalty and execute prisoners on death row
• Recognize only two sexes
• Remove diversity, equity and inclusion from federal hiring
• Rescind health care protections for sexual orientation and gender identity
• Restrict federal funds from supporting abortion access abroad
• Revise the Biden administration's reading of the Hyde amendment
• Use Civil Rights Act to remove gender ideology and CRT from school
• Withdraw from the World Health Organization

• Detain migrants in cooperation with local and state law enforcement
• End military DEI efforts
• Impose sanctions on countries that do not accept deportees
• Restrict federal funds to sanctuary cities
• Suspend U.S. refugee assistance program
• Use DoD to defend the southern border

• End "weaponization" of Justice Department
• Federal government hiring freeze
• Hire senior federal employees who agree with the president's agenda
• Reclassify policymaking employees (Schedule F)

What incredible coincidences. So much of what Trump has done was in the Project 2025 report. It's like flipping a coin 37 times and getting heads 37 times. Hey, it can happen! Now remember that the Project 2025 report was over 900 pages. Could more coincidences happen? Who knows? (V)
